Hartsfield-Jackson set to open exclusive terminal for wealthy travelers in September

August 23, 2023

ATLANTA, Ga. – An exclusive high-end terminal catering to affluent individuals is scheduled to debut at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on September 6, 2023.

Formerly known as The Private Suite, PS has been operating a VIP terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, attracting a celebrity clientele since 2017. Georgia’s flourishing film industry draws a similar crowd to Hartsfield-Jackson for television and movie productions.

Atlanta marks the second location for PS, which promises direct access (“a back door”) to commercial aircraft and top-notch “white glove service.” Positioned on the north side of the airfield, the private terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson, located in Signature Flight Support’s general aviation terminal, has been in development since 2022. Reservations commenced in early August.

Utilizing the facility grants commercial airline travelers the opportunity to undergo private Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening, bypassing the security queues at the bustling public terminals of Hartsfield-Jackson. Furthermore, patrons can enjoy cocktails, snacks, and chauffeured transportation to their aircraft.

Upon arrival, travelers will be personally collected on the tarmac, benefiting from private U.S. Customs clearance for international journeys.

This luxurious experience comes at a price of $1,095 per person for access to the PS terminal or $4,850 for a private suite accommodating up to four travelers. Private suites offer amenities such as daybeds, private restrooms, showers, spa services, meals, and a dedicated chauffeur service to and from the airplane.

For those seeking full privileges, an all-access membership is available for $4,850. However, even with the membership, using the terminal incurs a fee of $750 per person or $3,550 for a private suite.

Originally slated to open last autumn, the Atlanta facility’s launch was delayed until this year due to an agreement with the TSA for screening services at the prestigious VIP facility. The agreement, sanctioned by the Atlanta City Council in May, stipulates that Signature Flight Support and PS will reimburse TSA security screening program expenses.

In an official statement, Amina Porter, CEO of PS, said that the new terminal will deliver to Atlanta travelers “the convenience and luxury that has become synonymous with the PS brand.”

PS has plans to introduce its next terminals at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in the upcoming year and at Miami International Airport in 2025.
