POLK COUNTY, Ga. – An 18-year-old male Georgia jail employee was recently arrested for engaging in improper conduct with three female inmates.
Jacob Lee Franklin faces three counts of second-degree improper contact by an employee after officials discovered him passing notes to an inmate on September 5; his arrest warrant revealed that he allegedly groped and kissed the women as well.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office investigated this case. Franklin’s employment was immediately terminated for violating policies.
Sheriff’s deputies expressed gratitude to the GBI for their assistance. This case is currently pending in court.
